ISACLAB — the Intelligent Systems and Advanced Control Lab — is a research group at the University of Guilan dedicated to keeping complex machinery honest. We build the algorithms that catch a fault before it becomes a failure and the models that turn raw sensor noise into actionable insight.
Our work sits at the intersection of control theory, machine learning, and signal processing. On the industrial side, we design fault detection and condition monitoring systems for rotating machinery, gas turbines, and power generation plants — combining physics-based modeling with deep learning to diagnose faults faster and more reliably than either can alone. On the biomedical side, we develop EEG signal processing methods for brain-computer interfaces and neural diagnostics.
Led by Dr. Ali Chaibakhsh, ISACLAB partners with power, energy, and industrial organizations to move research from the lab bench into deployed systems.
