Power Gen

The goal of the PowerGen research group is to develop new techniques and processes for improving the performances and availability of conventional thermal power plants. The activities of this group is focused on aggregating the capabilities of University of Guilan in dealing with challenges facing the power plants. The main topics of current research includes instrumentation, control system design, modeling, fault detection and diagnosis, information fusion, energy saving, economics and operations research.
